This flagship regional medical center features a large, modern Emergency Department serving over 48,000 patients annually and is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and critical care infrastructure. The ED includes specialized treatment areas for trauma, mental health, and fast-track patients, offering a dynamic clinical environment for physicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

Youll work with a collaborative and well-supported clinical team, including experienced Advanced Practice Providers and scribe coverage. With newly renovated facilities, high-volume exposure, and robust physician and APP support, this is an ideal role for Emergency Medicine physicians seeking competitive compensation in a professionally rewarding environment.

Highlights :

$325 / hr for Emergency Medicine locums

ED volume : 48,000 annually

40-bed Emergency Department with CT and digital x-ray onsite

Specialty treatment areas for critical care, mental health, and fast track

3641 hours / day of physician coverage

5569 hours / day of APP coverage

Average 30 hours of daily scribe support

EMR : McKesson

Travel, lodging, and malpractice fully covered

Qualifications :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

Active Louisiana medical license

Previous high-volume ER experience preferred
