Description :

A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) to implement treatment plans.

They assist patients with exercises and administer therapeutic modalities such as heat and electrical stimulation.

Education on post-treatment care is also provided to patients.

Key duties include observing patients' progress and applying massage and stretches.

PTAs help patients use assistive devices such as walkers and canes.

They document treatment sessions by recording patient progress and reporting findings to the PT.
