Job Title : CNC Machinist - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to work on a night shift, specializing in machining parts for the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries. This role requires precise work with tight tolerances and involves using a boring mill and CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Edit CNC programs and select the proper tooling.
• Understand and operate Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Zero out X, Y, and Z axes before starting new jobs.
• Perform tool touch-offs to set proper tooling height from XYZ axis.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment on the night shift from 3 : 30 pm to 2 : 30 am, Monday to Friday. Training will be provided on the first shift (6 am-4 pm) until you are comfortable with the process. The environment includes exposure to grease and dirt, as well as the use of large equipment with overhead crane and hi-lo experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 / hr.
