Overview : Quality / Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring high standards of Quality and Safety in all operations. The role is responsible for promoting a safe working environment and ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Procedures : Create and update safety and quality protocols to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations along with industry and customer standards. Update KPI Summaries and Daily safety and quality reports, wet bulb measurements, air quality measurements, customer complaints, scrap, etc.
- Training : Providing training sessions for employees on safety and practices, emergency procedures, and quality standards. Create One Point Lessons and utilize to train employees.
- Audits and Inspections : Performing daily, weekly, monthly safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that safeguards are in place.
- Data Analysis : Utilizing data to identify trends and issues related to safety and quality, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaboration : Working with management and other departments to integrate safety and quality practices into all aspects of operations.
- Documentation : Creating and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation, including test plans, process procedures, and complaint logs.

Skills Required :
Attention to Detail with a strong ability to spot hazards and quality risks.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills for trend analysis, root cause, and data-driven decisions.Communication Skills (verbal and written) to train, influence, and report to all levels.Education : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience.Methodologies : Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma preferred; Green Belt a plus.Standards / Regulations : Working knowledge of OSHA; OSHA 10-Hour certification desired. Familiarity with ISO 9001Technical Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); capable of building KPI dashboards and clear presentations. Typing proficiency required.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Frequent time on the production floor; ability to stand / walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.Use of required PPE; exposure to typical manufacturing environments (noise, heat / cold, humidity).What Success Looks Like
