Overview
Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Bobcat Equipment Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic and hydrostatic systems, and electrical / electronic systems . This role includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Bobcat equipment both at customer job sites and in our facility. Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Bobcat equipment and related systems
- Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulic / hydrostatic systems, and electrical / electronic systems
- Use various diagnostic software to assist in the evaluation, repair, or installation of equipment
- Provide failure analysis, repair solutions, and performance recommendations to improve equipment reliability
- Perform general maintenance, inspections, and post-rental evaluations on equipment
- Assist customers with technical support, maintenance planning, and equipment needs
- Read and interpret service manuals, wiring schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and parts breakdowns
- Document all service and repair activities through detailed work orders
- Maintain a service vehicle with the necessary tools, equipment, and parts to ensure efficient repairs
- Support equipment start-ups, installations, and other service assignments as needed
Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving record2+ years of experience servicing Bobcat or similar heavy / compact equipmentStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical / electronic systemsAbility to read and troubleshoot wiring schematics, hydraulic flow diagrams, and service manualsWorking knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; three-phase electrical experience is a plusExcellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication skillsA positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamPhysical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl while working on equipmentLift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
