Job Title : Pharmacy Technician

Specialty : Meds by Mail (MbM) / CHAMPVA prescription processing support

Location : 2103 Veterans Blvd, Suite 21, Dublin, GA 31021

Duration : 1 year contract

Shift Schedule :

8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM, Monday Friday.

Hours may expand to evenings / weekends / split shifts based on workload / emergencies.

License / Certifications :

  • Certified by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board

Education :

  • High school diploma or GED.

    • Minimum Qualification / Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in retail or hospital pharmacy or graduate of an academic Pharmacy Technician training program.
  • Basic typing and PC skills.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Read / interpret prescriptions; identify missing info; communicate with providers / patients for clarification.
  • Enter medication details (strength, dosage form, directions, quantity, days' supply) per MbM policy; process refills / renewals (pharmacist verifies).
  • Work various queues (e.g., add providers to MbM database; support specialty teams).
  • Operate pharmacy automation and office equipment (scanner, fax, printers, software).
  • Use pharmacy systems to flag basic therapeutic issues (e.g., duplicate therapy) for pharmacist review.
  • Process returned medications per policy.
  • Perform call-center tasks per policy / law; document oral disclosures in EHR.
  • Report medication errors / quality issues per MbM Quality & Safety program.
  • Participate in medication histories / allergies / ADR / compliance reviews with patients / caregivers.
