About Us : Story is a residential integrated design build firm based in Scottsdale, specializing in home renovations and custom new builds. We offer a full-service approach that integrates architecture, construction, and interior design.

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design process for residential renovations and new custom homes. You will work closely with our in-house architects, project managers, and clients from concept to completion, ensuring that each space is beautifully designed, thoughtfully planned, and impeccably executed.

Lead interior design for luxury home renovations and ground-up custom builds.

Select and specify all FF&E, finishes, fixtures, and materials appropriate to project scope and style.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and trades throughout the design and build process.

Review construction progress, attend site visits, and provide design guidance during execution.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge in furniture selection, as well as window treatments, area rugs, art and accessories

Furniture selections, Power-point documents, quoting of furniture, procurement, and order tracking. Experience in Studio Designer or similar software is desired but not mandatory.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.

Minimum of 7–10 years of residential interior design experience, specifically in custom homes and renovations.

Proven expertise in space planning, plan and elevation drawings, material selection, millwork design, and finish specifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Revit (a plus).

Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight, from concept to completion.

Familiarity with local Arizona design styles, materials, and climate considerations is a plus.
