System Administrator

A company is looking for a System Administrator to support enterprise-level geospatial systems and infrastructure within a federal environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily monitoring of servers, databases, and system resources to ensure integrity, availability, and optimal performance

Administer, test, and maintain enterprise databases and web-based applications

Implement and maintain security controls to safeguard systems and databases in alignment with federal security frameworks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience

5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Database Administrator in enterprise IT environments

Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2019 or later) and web server administration (e.g., IIS on Windows Server)

Strong understanding of federal IT security requirements and compliance frameworks

Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
