Position Summary
The Department of Film and Digital Arts part-time, on-call Instructional Assistants work a maximum of ten hours per week supporting in-person classes. Successful candidates will have a solid knowledge of film history, criticism, and theory. Duties include such tasks as assisting with class preparation and commenting upon students' homework, quizzes, and exams in some courses, or providing technical assistance in others. Serving as a writing or filmmakingmentor, the IA may also employ experience in the cinematic arts to enhance student learning in small group discussions.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
