About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 3 years of current / recent Telemetry and / or Stepdown experience

License : Active Registered Nurse License

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have : Current Epic EMR proficiency

Description :

RN will work primarily on the Cardiac unit.

RN will also occasionally float between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, and Observation.

Schedule is 36 hours per week with night shift from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

Every other weekend is required.

There is no call requirement.

BLS and ACLS certification are both required.

Current Epic EMR proficiency is required.

Refresher classes or 1 : 1 assistance are not options for Epic proficiency.

Candidates must be able to read Telemetry and will be tested on this skill on day one.

Termination may occur if the candidate cannot pass the competency test.

Immediate termination may also occur if Epic proficiency is not verified.

Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.

Holiday coverage is required.
