Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least one year of Labor & Delivery experience and a current CO or compact license for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting

Night shifts from 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m. with 12-hour shifts, three days per week

Assignment duration is 13 weeks

Uses EPIC for charting and documentation

May be required to float to other departments within scope and qualifications

Possible on-call responsibilities during regular shifts

Primary duties include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients

Responsible for direct patient care, education, and support of patients and families

Team-based environment with collaboration among nursing and medical providers

Must adhere to hospital and regulatory documentation and practice standards

Requirements

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state

Minimum of one year experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an ASN required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
