Inside Sales Customer Service Manager

Lead an inside sales and customer service team.

Seeking experience with gear manufacturing / gear box manufacturing.

About Our Client : Our client is a market leader in highly custom engineered gears. They use some of the best quality materials on market outlasting their competitors in the field. They have 3 locations and are growing actively.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a plan for the inside sales and customer service team.
  • Lead and scale a team of 4 people.
  • Work closely with team to deliver best in class estimates, quotes, customer service, and deliver.
  • Build strong relationships with customers. key decision-makers, and your team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, operations and marketing, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Work closely with customer to achieve their business goals.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field.
  • 3-5+ years in highly engineered gears.
  • 2-4+ years in a sales / customer service leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience managing quotes, orders, customer inquires, estimates, pricing, and more.
  • Prior leadership experience is a must have - individual contributors will not be considered.
  • Proven track record of achieving business goals, and driving outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to come onsite in the Bloomingdale Illinois Area.
