Schedule : Full-Time; 7a-5 : 30p or 7a-7 : 30p (1 / 2-hour lunch) ; MUST be available 4 weeks / month
Work Details :
- Support staff : CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1 : 2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1 : 4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching.
- Patients per day : Depends, 1-9 / daily
- Patient population / age : All age spans (no Neonatal)
- Department description : CRNA would cover the following : Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
- EMR : EPIC preferred
- All providers will be required to work NORA
- Skills required : Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.
