We are seeking a General Manager for Bud's Goods & Provisions, Watertown, MA Cannabis Dispensary. This role is responsible for overseeing all activities on the premises, and for managing the team to achieve their best work in their duties. As the Retail Manager, you will be expected to be the model of sales finesse, compliance, and positive problem solving within the retail. This role is well versed in both the inventory and the duties of vault station, including deliveries. This individual thrives in fast paced environments and has the ability to prioritize the needs of the retail and staff. This role is focused on the improvement and development of retail operations and establishing a team of key players to align on those goals.

Job Duties
Manage and develop all retail employees.Keep retail employees current on all training.Keep current the retail standard operating procedures.Provide coaching, training and development to all hourly and salaried staff on a frequent basis. Work with the Director of Retail for implementation of new trainings.Maintain the Company's mission for guest experience and hospitality.Control and confirm compliance and security of all cannabis inventory.Keep current all compliance with Metrc and the Cannabis Control Commission.Assist Human Resources with maintaining the Company's diversity plan.Write and manage the employee schedule including making updates in real time in fluctuations.Perform weekly edits to employee timecards, paid time off requests and attendance trackers.Conduct monthly 1 on 1 meetings with all retail staff.Assist with the receipt and preparation for sale of cannabis and non-cannabis products.Manage the point-of-sale software and equipment.Manage the handling, storage, and deposit of cash.Manage all communications on the retail premises.Assist with the receiving and control of non-cannabis inventory such as accessories and merchandise.Provide reports to Bud's Leadership Team.Provide reports to the company accountant on cash and inventory tracking.Develop and execute goals to benefit the company and employees.Conduct documented employee performance reviews and evaluations.Work with Human Resources and the Director or Retail for discussing and executing employee disciplinary action, whether verbal or written.Manage the interviewing and hiring selection process for all retail candidates. Collaborate with Assistant Managers for interviewing and selecting new hires.Troubleshoot store related issues including those related to customers, operating systems or the overall retail space.Investigate and report cash or inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.Knowledge & Skills
