Secondary Operator
Job Summary :
The Secondary Operator is responsible for performing a variety of support tasks to complete the manufacturing process. This includes trimming, deburring, sanding, inspecting, packaging, and assembling parts to meet quality and production standards. The role requires attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, sanding, drilling, or tapping on manufactured parts.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, inconsistencies, or damage according to quality standards.
- Operate basic tools, hand tools, or secondary machines under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Record production data as required (quantities, rejects, time, etc.).
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures.
