Facility Setting : ICU / Critical Care Unit (currently 5 beds, expanding to 10 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00-19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Hours : 23

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,630 - $1,750 per week

Electronic Health Record : Medhost

Dress Code : Any color scrubs

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be obtained prior to start)

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check before assignment

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU

Monitor and manage patients with DKA, CVA, chest pain, post-surgical recovery, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric (SI) cases

Operate and manage critical care equipment including ventilators, BiPAPs, IV drips, and glucometers

Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Medhost EHR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a close-knit team environment
