Senior Private Client Associate
The Senior Private Client Associate plays a critical role in supporting senior Private Bankers and Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional banking services to high-net-worth clients. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex client needs with discretion and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with senior Private Bankers and Relationship Managers to provide personalized, white-glove service to high-net-worth clients, identifying and fulfilling their financial needs.
- Support Relationship Managers throughout the client onboarding process, including participating in KYC meetings and assisting with documentation and procedural requirements.
- Initiate account openings and assist Relationship Managers with fund transfers and related transactions.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as preparing client documentation, compiling reports, and scanning records.
- Oversee post-account opening operations to ensure compliance and mitigate audit risks.
- Collaborate with internal banking specialists and centralized service teams to deliver seamless, integrated client service.
- Engage directly with Relationship Managers and clients to execute transactions and perform account maintenance.
- Resolve client and internal issues with strong communication and problem-solving skills across business units.
- Enhance client satisfaction by proactively engaging with Relationship Managers and clients, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Assist Relationship Managers in presenting and delivering East West Bank's full suite of products and services.
- Mentor and guide other Private Client Associates, performing secondary reviews and quality control as needed.
Qualifications
35 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services or banking environment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely completion.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Effective time management and decision-making abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Professional working proficiency in Mandarin and or Cantonese is a plus.Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $33.00 / Hr. - USD $40.00 / Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
