Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our physician practice clinics, you'll play a critical role in supporting both patients and providers. You will perform a combination of clinical and administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of outpatient care. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact patient well-being while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the provider staff.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Dress wounds, remove sutures / staples, and carry out other basic clinical tasks.
- Record and maintain vital signs and other essential patient information.
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and maintain examination room cleanliness.
- Maintain adequate stock of supplies and report needs as appropriate.
- Conduct simple lab tests, perform EKGs, and assist with x-rays as required.
- Provide patient instruction per provider's direction and ensure clear communication.
- Perform basic administrative duties including reception, clerical work, and billing assistance.
Job Qualifications
Required :
High school diploma or GEDCertified Nursing Assistant CertificateBLS (Basic Life Support) certificationProficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsBasic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entryExcellent customer service skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and work with attention to detailPreferred :
