Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will :

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management

Monitor and document patient responses and adjust care plans as needed

Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize respiratory care

Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and at-home therapies

Ensure proper function and maintenance of respiratory equipment

Uphold hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Arizona

Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on department)

1+ year of clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred

Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team
