Overview
The Construction Carpentry Tech will build, erect, install, and repair forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects. They will also assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and rectifying of maintenance-related issues at Tentac Enterprises' properties. They will execute all general commercial maintenance procedures while maintaining an emphasis on quality and preventative maintenance, following company standards of quality, cleanliness, customer satisfaction, safety, and security.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the company's preventative maintenance program
- Measure, mark, and arrange materials to establish layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
- Install, maintain and repair areas such as machinery, equipment, physical structures, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial property buildings
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of other facility equipment, ensuring that all company procedures have been adhered to
- Perform general facilities work related to construction, repair, finishing, and installation of facility-related equipment using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment
- Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures; promote safe work practices among on-site staff
- Adhere to local building and safety codes and guidelines

Licenses Or Certificates
