Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a growing multi-disciplined civil engineering firm in search of a Bridge Design Engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Candidates should be honest, hard-working, team players that are capable of multi-tasking and learning new things. Daily duties may include project and staff management, customer relations, complete plan development and design on a variety of bridge and roadway improvement projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply :

• Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of bridge designs
• Structural plan and detail development for various types of bridges
• Manage projects and mentor junior staff
• Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce bridge design plans and additional documents
• Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers
• Experience with MicroStation, LEAP Bridge, Midas Civil 3D desirable
• AASHTO LRFD code preferred
• Adhere to a strict quality control requirements

Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in bridge design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
