Travel MRI Technologist Rochester, NY

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a motivated MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable facility in Rochester, NY. This role offers a unique schedule and opportunity to make a significant impact while enjoying the culture, history, and lifestyle of Rochester.

Assignment Details :

Location : Rochester, NY

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Schedule : 4 10-hour days Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday from 12 : 30 PM 11 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

Operate MRI equipment to perform a full range of diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging scans according to established protocols

Screen patients for safety and contraindications prior to MRI exams

Prepare patients for imaging, including positioning, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort

Administer contrast agents when required, monitor patients during and after administration for adverse reactions

Monitor and ensure quality of images; make technical adjustments as needed for optimal imaging

Maintain MRI safety standards, infection control, and department procedures

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical team members for accurate imaging and reporting

Ensure equipment is functioning properly; report malfunctions or needs for maintenance

Requirements :

Certified or registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)

Valid licensure compliant with New York State requirements

Current BLS certification (AHA)

Minimum of 12 years of recent MRI experience preferred

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work evenings and weekend shifts on scheduled days

Good attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and ensure patient safety
