Experienced Sous Chef

Located in the heart of Bordentown City, Old Town Pub is where local history meets modern flair. We're searching for a part-time Experienced Sous Chef who's ready to bring creativity, leadership, and consistency to our kitchen. YOUR ROLE

As an Experienced Sous Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team and ensure smooth, high-quality operations every day. You will manage staff, oversee kitchen operations, and maintain food quality and consistency. You will take part in menu development, training, and mentorship, while ensuring that standards are met across all areas. Communication will be a key part of your day as you coordinate with the team to maintain excellence in service and efficiency. When the Head Chef is away, you will step in as a leader, ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen reflects our commitment to quality and care.

YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a part-time cooking position with shifts that vary but will be within normal business hours, including evenings and weekends. Business hours are generally 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, though flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our kitchen operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience
• Experience with menu development, training, and mentorship
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to maintain food quality and consistency
• Commitment to upholding kitchen standards and smooth operations
