Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Pittsfield, MA 01201 - Explore the Berkshires and enjoy top-rated Massachusetts healthcare jobs Unit : 3 East - Cardiac / Neuro (20-34 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 - End : 2 / 2 / 2026) Patient Ratio : Typically 1 : 6 Dress Code : Personal scrubs (any color) Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend & holiday coverage required Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1950 - $2090 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Minimum 4 years of recent Med / Surg, Cardiac, and Neuro nursing experience High proficiency in cardiac and neuro patient care (skills checklist required) Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS (must be current at profile upload) Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course required Tele nursing experience required Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed Traveler must have own vehicle COVID-19 vaccination (dose date on or after 10 / 3 / 23) or approved exemption (mask required) Permanent address must be included in application; candidates within 50 miles of facility are ineligible All requested time off must be included at submission (maximum 5 days) Supervisory signed reference from the past two years required Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac and neuro patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other units as required for clinical support Maintain compliance with facility policies and Massachusetts state nursing regulations Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families Experience the best of Massachusetts nursing jobs in the Berkshires!
