Job Summary
Burkhart Plumbing is seeking experienced Journeyman Plumbers to join our full-service team in North Idaho. You’ll work on residential and commercial projects—handling repairs, remodels, preventative maintenance, new construction, radiant heating, and snow-melt systems across Kootenai and Bonner counties. Responsibilities and Duties
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, and hydronic heating systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using industry-standard methods and tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and local building codes.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure long-term reliability.
- Maintain accurate work records—time, materials used, and job notes—as per company standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Valid Journeyman Plumber license (Idaho or Washington)2+ years of plumbing experience in residential, commercial, and service.Proficient in working with various materials (PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, etc.) and systems.Solid mathematical and problem-solving skills; ability to accurately measure, calculate, and plan.Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and adhere to local codes.Strong customer service and communication skillsPhysically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, working in confined spaces, on ladders.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationCompany Benefits and Perks
