Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position with critical need in California, requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in a hospital setting

Night shift position, 12-hour shifts from 7 : 30 PM to 8 : 00 AM

36 hours per week over a 9-week contract

Utilizes Epic EMR system

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred

One year of recent progressive or intermediate care unit experience preferred

Team operates in a critical care environment with a focus on cardiac patients

Both local and travel candidates accepted at the same rate

Travelers cannot exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break in accordance with HR policy

COVID and flu vaccination may be required based on prevailing facility policy

Requirements Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent RN experience

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
