Now Hiring : CNC Setup Machinist

Location : Melrose Park, IL

Shifts : Day or Night Shift | Full-Time

Pay : Competitive, Based on Experience

Hours : 50–55 hrs / week during busy seasons

Join a multi-plant operation where your skills are valued, and opportunities for growth are real. Power Services Group is hiring experienced CNC Setup Machinists to run horizontal and vertical machining centers in a clean, organized, and well-supported environment.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Set up and run CNC machines for short- and mid-run production
  • Work from setup sheets, part prints, and G-code programs
  • Set tools, adjust offsets, and ensure smooth, accurate machining
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

Machines You’ll Be Working On :

  • Mazak horizontal machining centers (Mazatrol controls)
  • Hyundai horizontal machining centers (Fanuc controls)
  • Some vertical machining (training available for horizontal transition)

    • ✅ What We’re Looking For :

  • Experience setting up multi-axis CNC mills
  • Familiarity with Mazatrol and / or Fanuc controls
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality parts
  • CNC programming experience is a plus (but not required)

    • Shift Options :

  • Day Shift : Starts at 5 : 00 AM or 6 : 00 AM
  • Night Shift : Starts at 5 : 00 PM or 6 : 00 PM
  • OT Available : Especially during spring and fall (50–55 hrs / week)
