Job Summary :
You will be a key representative of Melink Solar, interfacing directly with clients, subcontractors, and asset managers to guarantee the long-term success of our projects. Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot networking issues on fiber, ethernet, modbus, rs485, etc. Perform Root Cause Analysis of failures and develop corrective action plans. Site Leadership & Client Relations Serve as the primary on-site point of contact, professionally representing Melink Solar to clients, asset owners, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors. Preset, support, and lead by example with a safety-first and quality-oriented culture on every job site. Mentor and guide other technicians or subcontractors as needed. (This is a key "senior" duty) Administration & Reporting Diligently utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document all work, manage work orders, and track asset history. Support ordering, inventory, and logistics of spare parts for assigned sites. Support tracking costs and provide data to support financial reporting. Safety & Compliance Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all work is performed in strict accordance with Melink Solar policy, OSHA, and NFPA 70E standards. Fill out Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) before work begins. Follow Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures for all electrical and mechanical work. Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience indirectly related will still be evaluated. In-depth understanding of electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings. Advanced understanding and troubleshooting capability for SCADA, DAS, and plant communication systems. Proficiency with advanced electrical testing equipment (e.g., megohmmeters, IV Curve Tracers, thermal cameras, oscilloscopes). Familiarity with ANSI / NETA / MTS testing procedures. Experience with commissioning and maintenance of battery storage systems (BESS) and their associated management systems (BMS). Experience conducting QAQC inspections and audits in solar or electrical construction environments. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems Ability to interpret and enforce quality specifications and standards Professional Attributes Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to create detailed reports and interact professionally with all stakeholders.
