Senior Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor program.

Key Responsibilities :

Coordinate input and requirements from engineering and project teams to develop mechanical design solutions

Create 3D models of systems, structures, and components using CAD tools

Conduct mechanical analyses including hand calculations and finite element analysis

Qualifications :

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, or M.S. with 3+ years of experience

EIT certification or PE license preferred

Proficiency in CAD software

Experience using mechanical analysis tools

Demonstrated success in delivering qualified hardware and documentation packages
