About the Role :

The Nurse Practitioner in Hospice care plays a critical role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. This position focuses on managing symptoms, coordinating care plans, and supporting both patients and their families through the end-of-life journey. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They will also serve as an advocate for patients’ wishes, ensuring dignity and comfort in their final stages of life. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance quality of life and provide expert clinical care in a sensitive and respectful manner.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC or AANP certification).
• Experience or training in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
