Scheduling and confirming clinical appointments effectively. Maintaining and organizing dental records, and ordering necessary dental and office supplies. Ensuring a high standard of infection control by managing dental supplies in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Conducting engaging oral health education sessions for children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, or Certification as required by the state. Active CPR or BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant. Proficiency in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry. Ability to instruct and demonstrate proper sterilization and infection control techniques. State Certification in expanded functions as mandated by the state.
ATA Services, Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity for experienced Dental Assistants to join our team for a temporary assignment. This role is vital in supporting our school-based prevention program aimed at improving children’s oral health.
- Pay Rate : $68.45 per hour with weekly pay
- Start Date : ASAP
- Assignment Duration : 30 weeks
- Schedule : 25 hours per week
- Locations : Albuquerque, and Santa Fe, NM.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role alongside the Registered Dental Hygienist, assisting in evaluating children's dental health, applying dental sealants and fluoride varnish, and managing health records efficiently. Your responsibilities will include :
