THE ROLE

Our site in Burnet, TX is seeking a / an Analytical Chemist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The Co-op will learn operations of a quality lab from method development and validation to scheduling lab time. This position will combine knowledge of analytical chemistry with quality requirements and business operations giving the candidate a wholistic view of how a quality lab operates in a large volume manufacturing site with very special chemistries.

What You'll Do

• Learn routine testing procedures for our specialty chemicals to provide data for Customer CoAs.
• Use knowledge of analytical tools to assist with troubleshooting.
• Use knowledge of analytical chemistry and interactions to evaluate and suggest improvements to current practices.
• Learn lab operations and assist in streamlining or making improvements to the process to improve lab KPIs.
• Assist in ensuring proper Laboratory cleanliness to support high quality trace-level data
• Follow and improve safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly environment (5S Guidelines)
