Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager will work closely with sales, manufacturing, and other business stakeholders to design and implement new products or enhance existing ones. This role involves selecting components and materials, creating detailed drawings, and maintaining documentation. The Engineering Manager ensures products meet design, performance, test, and cost parameters and evaluates design integrity and component selection.
Responsibilities
- Design new products and components or enhance existing products using SolidWorks software.
- Prioritize projects and plan development cycles and design schedules.
- Maintain complete documentation of designs, including 3D CAD models and Bill of Materials.
- Research and specify required materials, sourcing vendors for materials and components.
- Coordinate production of prototypes and ensure accuracy of parts and product flows from design to production.
- Develop and evaluate test programs for new products, ensuring performance and structural integrity.
- Release engineering change requests and notices with all necessary documentation upon product approval.
- Communicate project status, product performance, and other pertinent data regularly.
- Assist in the preparation and creation of manuals by reviewing and refining content.
- Provide project support to customer service, dealers, parts sales, marketing, and end-users.
Essential Skills
Engineering management experience.Proficiency in product design, including hydraulic systems and component selection.Proficient in 3D CAD using SolidWorks Professional and Microsoft Office programs.Excellent communication skills and technical instruction capabilities.Experience in stress analysis, material selection, and structural integrity evaluation.Ability to lead multiple projects and work under pressure.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with sweepers and mowing / agricultural implements is highly desirable.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and analyze product failures.Working knowledge of basic electrical system elements and hydraulic systems for sweepers.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 1015 years of experience in product design and production environments.Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00 / yr.
