Youth Flag Football Official (Elementary)

Job Summary

A Youth Flag Football Official is responsible for enforcing the flag football rules, ensuring that all games start on time, and providing a safe and positive environment for participants (grades 1

st

th

). Applicant must have prior knowledge of football either as a participant, coach or official. Applicant must be available Saturdays from 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM. Hours are dependent on team registrations.

MANDATORY OFFICIAL TRAININGS

o Thursday, September 7, 6 : 00PM-8 : 00PM

o Wednesday, September 13, 6 : 00PM-8 : 00PM

• All MANDATORY trainings will take place at a TBD location

Supervision Required

Works under the direction of the League Director at their assigned work site.

Job Requirements

Working Environment

This environment includes walking, climbing, standing for long periods of time, and possible loud noises when exposed to activities in the gym or similar environment. Staff will be required to supervise groups of children and adults as well as assist in the accommodation of children and / or adults with disabilities (within parameters of provided training).
