We're seeking a Sr Software Engineer to help drive the technology vision and development of our next-generation home care agency and caregiver platform. This is a hybrid position based out of our Midtown Manhattan, Washington D.C. or Bloomington, MN office locations, with an on-site presence required two days per week to support team collaboration.

Essential Job Duties

• Build advanced / cutting edge solutions into the home care agency management workflow
• Develop front-end and back-end (clojure, postgres) applications and services
• Integrate with existing foundational AI models using a variety of technologies including AWS Bedrock
• Architect solutions and work with a team of fellow engineers to make them come to life
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and microservices to support robust, scalable functionality and interoperability with other platforms (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
• Promote a culture of curiosity and problem-solving in the workplace
• Make assessments about incoming work requirements and share development projects with fellow engineers on collaborative projects
• Collaborate closely with fellow product managers, designers and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and define team goals
• Build health-data secure solutions, participate in security audits and remediations
• Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to improve team efficiency and maintain quality coding standards
• Mentor fellow software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure consistent software quality

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $122,000-$140,000, not including variable compensation. An employee's exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
