- Schedule : Monday – Friday; standard business hours
- On-Call Expectations : 1 : 3 call rotation
- Start Date : Upon completion of credentialing (approximately 90–120 days post-offer)

Patient Demographics : Adult and geriatric populations with autoimmune and musculoskeletal disordersAverage Daily Volume / Census : Based on clinic scheduling; manageable caseload supported by integrated EMR and system resourcesAdmissions & Rounding : Minimal; primarily outpatient focusConsults & Follow-Ups : Yes, primarily outpatient consultative and follow-up careCase Mix / Clinical Focus Areas : Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, connective tissue disease, and other inflammatory disordersFACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
EMR System : EpicSpecialty Backup : Access to full network of subspecialists across Community Healthcare SystemSupport Staff : Dedicated nursing and administrative support teamLeadership & Reporting Structure : Reports to the Medical Director / Division ChiefReason for Opening : Growth within the expanding Rheumatology service lineCREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
Board Requirements : Board Certified or Board Eligible in RheumatologyDEA & Certifications : Active DEA; BLS and ACLS requiredCredentialing Timeline : 90–120 daysCOMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS

Board Status : BC / BE in RheumatologyState License Required : Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtainCertifications : DEA, BLS, ACLSExperience : Prior clinical experience in Rheumatology preferred; new fellows welcome to applyAdditional Requirements : Strong communication skills, patient-centered focus, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environmentDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseasesProvide longitudinal management and follow-up of chronic rheumatologic conditionsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including internal medicine and specialty servicesUtilize Epic EMR for efficient and compliant documentationParticipate in quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiativesContribute to the continued development of the Rheumatology service line within Community Healthcare SystemCOMMUNITY & LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS
