Consumer Insights Manager
LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing CPG company in Chicago in their search for a Consumer Insights Manager to support their team for a six month contract for a maternity leave!
This role will lead consumer and category insights efforts to drive brand, innovation, and go-to-market strategy across our food portfolio. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding the "why" behind shopper behavior and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence business decisions.
This position is onsite full-time in Chicago.
What You'll Do :
- Lead development of consumer and category insights to inform brand strategy, innovation, and marketing decisions
- Manage syndicated data sources (IRI / Circana or Nielsen) to analyze category trends, competitive landscape, and brand performance
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Innovation teams to provide insights that drive growth opportunities
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and storytelling that connects data to strategic implications
- Support consumer research initiatives including concept testing, usage & attitude studies, and brand tracking
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)5+ years of experience in Consumer Insights or Category Management within the CPG or food industryStrong working knowledge of IRI / Circana or Nielsen tools and syndicated dataProven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insightsExcellent storytelling, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skillsThis is a W2 contract position paying $50 / hr+, depending on experience!
