Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for adult rehab services with a minimum of one year of experience and a current Oklahoma PT license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an adult rehab services department
  • Full-time schedule with 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
  • The role involves treating adult patients requiring rehabilitative therapy
  • Work setting includes use of various physical therapy equipment adjusted to patient needs
  • Evaluates patients, interprets physician orders, and develops individualized treatment plans
  • Monitors patient response to therapy and modifies care as needed
  • Participates in discharge planning and provides home program instructions to patients
  • Documents treatments and patient outcomes in medical records
  • May supervise and assist students during clinical rotations depending on experience
  • Maintains cleanliness and functionality of therapy equipment
  • Must comply with a 50 mile radius rule; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks and must wait 6 months before reapplying

  • Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision PT license required if applicable
  • Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
  • Minimum of one year recent experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic physical therapy practices
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
