Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the field operations of a high-rise hospitality project in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale vertical construction projects and leading site teams through all phases of the build.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations and site logistics
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
- Maintain project schedule and proactively resolve delays
- Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
- Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and owners
- Lead site meetings and provide progress updates
- Oversee punch list completion and project closeout
Qualifications
8–10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial constructionProven experience with high-rise hospitality projects (10+ stories preferred)Strong understanding of structural systems, MEP coordination, and finish sequencingProficient in scheduling software and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project)OSHA 30 certification requiredExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills
Experience with block-and-plank or post-tensioned concrete systemsFamiliarity with Florida building codes and permitting processesAbility to mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative site cultureCompensation & Benefits
