Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Dothan, Alabama (36301) – Alabama healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (October 27, 2025 – January 26, 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 00); block scheduling available Shifts per Week : 3x12 or 4x12, based on traveler preference Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570 per week Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Unit : 4 East | 400300 Orientation : 28 hours Weekend Coverage : Required Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Alabama or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application) Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Proficiency with IV drips (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone) Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations Comfortable with patient ratios up to 1 : 6-7 COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions only) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) No local candidates within a 90-mile radius of Dothan, AL First-time travel nurses welcome!
