Coverage Details :

  • Coverage needed per month : 1-2 weekends per month, inpatient only. They can work Friday to Monday - Friday start time can be anywhere between 7 : 00 AM and 4 : 00 PM. Mondays they must be available to cover call till 7 : 00 AM.
  • Frequency of any Call needed : Consultations from emergency department and hospital; surgeries in main OR.
  • Schedule Details : 1-2 weekends per month, inpatient only, 4pm Fridays through 7am Mondays

Work Details :

  • Support staff : None for inpatient
  • Department Description : Urology - gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, difficult catheter insertion
  • Patient Volume : 2-4 new consults daily
  • Patient Age Group : 16 years and up
  • EMR / Documentation System : EPIC
  • EMR / Documentation system experience required or preferred? : Preferred
  • Special Procedures / Unit Details : No OR or Trauma, these patients are transferred to Geisinger medical center
  • Special Equipment Used : None
