Medical Credentialing Specialist

We're seeking a part-time deta il-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support our growing healthcare organization. In this role, you'll manage provider credentialing from start to finish—collecting, verifying, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist providers with applications, privileges, and malpractice documentation

Conduct primary source verifications and maintain credentialing databases

Audit files for accuracy and submit for review

Prepare reports and track credentialing timelines

Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Support onboarding / offboarding and maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements :

2+ years of credentialing or healthcare administration experience

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing software

Knowledge of NCQA or Joint Commission standards is a plus

Education :

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Work Remotely :

No- Onsite at the Melrose Park, IL Headquarters
