Role Overview

We are seeking a Web Developer & Designer (Volunteer) who is passionate about both technology and faith. In this role, you will help redesign and manage our organizational website to improve user experience, accessibility, and impact. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the website reflects BluShues’ mission, projects, and opportunities for engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Redesign, update, and maintain the BluShues website for functionality and design quality.

Ensure the site effectively communicates our mission and showcases Bible distribution initiatives.

Create user-friendly features such as donation portals, volunteer application forms, and resource libraries.

Ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.

Optimize the site for accessibility, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

Collaborate with other departments (communications, design, fundraising) to update content regularly.

Requirements

Proven experience in web development and design .

Proficiency in platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar CMS .

Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and / or graphic design tools.

Excellent problem-solving and creative design skills.

Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Must be a committed Christian willing to sign BluShues’ Statement of Faith as this is a faith-based role.
