Age : Minimum 18 years oldEducation : High school diploma or GED preferredExperience : Minimum 1 year in food preparationCore Skills : Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions, recipe following for Head Start complianceProfessional Competencies : Professional demeanor, ability to work with diverse populationsLanguage : Bilingual in Spanish or Hmong helpfulAdditional : Experience with low-income and culturally diverse populations preferredWHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Nutrition Service Provider I, you'll support nutritional excellence by :
Assisting in food preparation, service, and clean-up for children ages 0-5Preparing nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks following agency menu cyclesFollowing state and federal food service regulations and Head Start compliance guidelinesSupporting site sanitation and maintaining clean, safe food service environmentsWorking collaboratively under NSP III supervision in a team-based environmentBuilding positive relationships with children, families, and staffWHO WE ARE
