We specialize in commercial, industrial, and government-funded projects, including schools, public buildings, and infrastructure work.

We’re looking for an Estimating Coordinator to join our tight-knit team.  This is a full-time, on-site position working in our El Cajon, CA office. This role will primarily support the estimating department—working directly with our Estimator to prepare bids, coordinate subcontractors, and manage proposal documentation. Because we are a small company, this position may also assist with project startup tasks (such as pre-construction RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and O&M manuals) to ensure a smooth handoff into projects.

🔧 What You’ll Do

Estimating & Preconstruction (Primary Focus)

• Work closely with the Estimator to review drawings and specifications with emphasis on plumbing / pipefitting scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs; develop and organize detailed cost estimates.
• Build bid packages, solicit / evaluate quotes, and track bid schedules.
• Maintain historical pricing and scope sheets; assist with value engineering.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather and level proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks to gather project details.
• Prepare final bid packages and support proposal submissions.

Project Startup & Limited Coordination (Secondary Support)
