\nRegistered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN)\n

\nStartDate : 10 / 20 / 2025 \nAvailable Shifts : 12 E \nPay Rate : $1782.10 - $2421.84 \n

\nTriage and Initial Assessment\n\nQuickly assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their condition.\nPrioritize care based on acuity using standardized triage systems (e.g., ESI – Emergency Severity Index).\nRapid Patient Care\n\nDeliver prompt, accurate care in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.\nPerform initial and ongoing assessments of vital signs and physical conditions.\nAdminister medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions (e.g., CPR, defibrillation).\nCollaboration with Healthcare Team\n\nWork closely with ED physicians, specialists, and support staff.\nCommunicate patient status, changes, and treatment responses effectively.\nAssist with procedures like intubations, central line insertions, or wound care.\nDocumentation and Charting\n\nDocument all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EHR.\nMaintain accurate and timely patient records, often under pressure.\nPatient Education and Discharge Planning\n\nExplain procedures, medications, and follow-up care to patients and families.\nCoordinate with case managers or social workers for discharge or transfer.\n\nCrisis and Trauma Management\n\nRespond to codes (e.g., Code Blue, trauma alerts).\nCare for critically ill or injured patients (e.g., cardiac arrest, strokes, gunshot wounds).\nInfection Control and Safety\n\nFollow strict infection control protocols.\nEnsure safety measures for patients, staff, and themselves.\nMental Health Support\n\nAssess and manage patients experiencing mental health crises.\nUse de-escalation techniques and involve psychiatric resources when necessary.\n

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, ER

Experience : 2 years

RN(Compact Accepted)(Copy needed)

Certifications : BLS(Copy needed); ACLS(Copy needed); PALS(Copy needed); CERT-TNCC(Copy needed)

Work History : Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history

ER Skills Checklist and Reference within a year

RTO upon submission

26 week contracts
