Shifts : Night (3x12 Hours) 19 : 00 7 : 30

Weekend Requirement : Every Other Weekend

Float : Yes – within scope (travelers float first)

Block Schedule : Not guaranteed

Job Overview

This Cardiac Telemetry unit serves adult medical-surgical patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses. Nurses will manage telemetry monitoring and care for stable post-cardiac cath, stroke, and TIA patients. Remote telemetry via Hicuity system is used.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum Experience : 1 year in Telemetry
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 5–6
  • Charting System : Any – required
  • Travel Experience : Required
  • Certifications

  • Required :
  • BLS (AHA only)

  • Preferred :
  • CPI (Calm Every Storm – may be required for compliance)

  • Peripheral line care / management
  • Phlebotomy
