The responsibilities include skillful performance of selected duties before, during and after an operation as a scrub or circulating assistant, in conformance with institutional Mission and Philosophy and AORN Standards. On-call is required.Education and TrainingHigh School graduate or equivalent. Completion of a surgical technical program or Surgical Technician certification preferredCertification and LicensureCompletion of a Certified Surgical Tech program approved by the National Board of Surgical Technical and Surgical Assisting. Certified Surgical Tech preferred.
