We are working with an established
Manufacturing Companybased inCincinnati, OH.They are recruiting for anMaintenance Supervisor (Night Shift)to join their team on days in return for a salary in the region of$37 - $40 p / halong with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.Duties as an Maintenance Supervisor :
Supervise, lead, and mentor a team of2–3maintenance technicians duringnight shiftWork hands-on with the team, carrying out electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.Provide training and mentoring to team members, supporting skill development and knowledge sharing.Diagnose and resolve breakdowns across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.Prioritize and allocate maintenance tasks, ensuring effective coverage of production requirements.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and downtime events.Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve machine performance and reliability.Communicate effectively with day shift supervisors and managers to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of operations.Qualifications & Experience required :
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (covering both electrical and mechanical).At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.Background in manufacturing, ideally plastics, extrusion, or similar industry.Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, with the ability to also work confidently on mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on the night shift.Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.To find out more, simply click Apply or contact James Walden on 215-999-6430 or email james.walden@axionrecruitment.com
