Are you an experienced Automation Controls Engineer looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment? We have an exciting direct-hire opportunity in Albert Lea, MN , with a competitive salary based on experience (targeting up to $105K ). If you're passionate about PLC programming, automation, and electrical controls , this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do :

  • Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Integrate and automate robotic systems
  • Work on custom automation projects with a range of clients, from small shops to major manufacturers
  • Collaborate across departments and with customers to ensure successful project execution
  • Minimal travel (approx. 4 times per year) to customer sites for debugging and setup

What We're Looking For :

  • Experience with three-phase industrial electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience with wiring, panel building, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Studio 5000 a plus)
  • No degree required —but a background in Electrical Engineering or similar is a bonus
  • SolidWorks Electrical experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
